We love our horses, as I'm sure you do, too, because you visited this page.  Our horses are our pets and our pets are our family. Mare Pasture We have made a commitment to our personal horses that they will always have a home here, that we will do everything in our power to keep them healthy, comfortable and happy and that they will be loved and cared for until their death.

Click here for the Story of Henry, one of several horses who were retired here.

We are considering installing web cams here so that boarders can view their horses from any computer with InterGelding Pasturenet connection.  It's costly, though.  If you have an opinion on whether you think that would be a nice thing or unnecessary, please e-mail us at greenpastures@horsearoundacres.com.  Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Pittsburgh Horse Owners,

Have you not been riding your horse much lately but still paying the high cost of boarding your horse near your home?  Green Barn (2 stall barn with 1/4 acre pasture)Consider boarding him or her at Horse Around Acres where he/she will have free choice turn-out and friends to play with.  We're located in West Central Beaver County, 1 hour's drive northwest from downtown Pittsburgh (see Map).  So a drive out on the weekend would not be a long trip.   We offer a special discount for retired horses (click here for details).

We have five separate herd groups.  Currently, they are the geldings, the mares, the bank barn, the three-sided building and the green barn.  Click here for descriptions, pictures and more information on our separate pastures.
